Built in a small boutique community in the Brentwood Tennessee area, this home takes its design cues from the farm house precedents mandated by the community design guidelines. Stone, brick, siding and cedar shingles make up a varied, but unified facade. Architectural asphalt shingles and "galvalume" roofs shelter the house and its expansive open front and rear porches that span the entire length of the main living space and entry hall. The detached garage at the rear right side creates an ell that cradles a swimming pool, pergola and spa area that are viewed from a screened porch that opens from the Kitchen/Breakfast Area. The home was constructed masterfully by Rob Tallman of Handcrafted Homes and the lovely interiors were designed by Stephanie Gilboy of Gilboy Interiors.
